1996: SAFA Pharmaceutical Industries Co established in Diala, Iraq.

1996: SAFA Pharmaceutical Industries Co began manufacturing liquid forms (syrups, mixtures, elixirs and suspensions).

1998: SAFA Pharmaceutical Industries Co established capsules line (Iraq’s first private pharmaceutical industry to establish capsules line).

1999: SAFA Pharmaceutical Industries Co established tablets line (the biggest tablets line with six tableting machines).

2000: SAFA Pharmaceutical Industries Co established suppositories line (SPI is the only private pharmaceutical industry that has a suppositories line in the country).

2001: SAFA Pharmaceutical Industries Co has more than fifty registered items in the market.

2003: The new extension facility is now built on a 3200 square meters of land and we are set to become the largest privately-owned pharmaceutical manufacturer in Iraq.

2004-2007: Adding new production and packaging lines

2008: Beginning the construction of our new plant 2009: Opening of SAFA regional office in Amman - Jordan

2010-Present: Submission tens of registration files to Ministry of Health.
