Treatment and prevention of pyridoxine deficiency states.
Also tried in a wide range of other disorders including depression, and other symptoms associated with
premenstrual syndrome and the use of oral contraceptives. Pyridoxine deficiency may however be
drug-induced and can occur for instance during isoniazide therapy. Pyridoxine deficiency in adults leads to
development of peripheral neuritis; in children affect the CNS
